Earlier this last year, Trent Shirk asked Woodcrest Christian School in a chapel "Can you go a day without sinning?"
Charlie Moulton, the Lakeshore pastor, asked his congregation last night the question, "Is our prayer life so important to us, that we would rather die instead of giving it up?"
We were in Daniel 6 for a moment and God led Pastor Charlie to ask this question. I thought I would echo it here. Sadly, we go days without talking to God or reading His word, but we feel that we cannot go a day without sinning like Trent asked? Why is this? This is between you and God, talk to Him, see what needs to be changed in your life, because I can promise that you are not doing all that you can to grow with Him, no matter how "good of a Christian you are." You can always improve.
Read Daniel 6 and I John. Let these two chapters be chapters that influence you beyond belief. Study them, apply it. Let God work through you and change even the core of who you are.
